Template:DamageCategories The category (French: catégorie category) of a move is a property of said move that determines the kind of damage it deals.
If a move is physical, the damage calculation is performed using the user's Attack and the target's Defense. If it is special, it will use the user's Special Attack and the target's Special Defense.
Status moves
